Founder & CEO, Passes | World's Youngest Self-Made Woman Billionaire

About

Lucy Guo is an engineer, innovator, entrepreneur, DJ—and the world’s youngest self-made woman billionaire. She co-founded Scale AI, a data labeling company now powering the world’s most advanced generative AI models, in 2016, long before AI became the juggernaut it is today. Currently, she’s driving the evolution of how content creators build and scale their businesses as the founder and CEO of Passes.

As a keynote speaker, Lucy Guo offers insights on building and scaling businesses from the ground up. Drawing on her experiences founding and investing in unicorn companies, she offers lessons on innovation, leadership, embracing risk, optimizing your life for continuous learning, and the importance of developing your network from an early age. She also speaks about AI’s impact on the creator economy and empowering creators to build real wealth. Her talks are well suited for entrepreneurs, women’s leadership events, colleges, creator conferences, and corporate audiences.

More About Lucy Guo
Lucy Guo is the founder and CEO of Passes, the category-defining content creator commerce platform where creators turn influence into real business. Boasting names as big as Shaquille O’Neal, music producer Kygo, and gymnast Olivia Dunne, the platform has already paid out nine-figures in revenue to its creators. Guo is also co-founder of Backend Capital, a venture fund that has invested in over 100 startups across diverse sectors.

Growing up with electrical engineer parents in the Bay Area’s innovation ecosystem, Guo was immersed in cutting-edge technology and entrepreneurial culture from an early age. This environment sparked her passion for technology, leading her to become a self-taught programmer. She honed her skills through hackathons and online ventures, quickly establishing herself as a product visionary with an exceptional ability to build solutions that users love.

Following in the footsteps of billionaires before her, she dropped out of Carnegie Mellon University in pursuit of real-world knowledge that she'd never get in the classroom. She kickstarted her career as a recipient of the Thiel Fellowship and worked at Facebook, Snapchat (where she made history as the company's first female designer), and Quora before co-founding Scale AI.
