More About Coyote Peterson
For more than a decade, Coyote Peterson has gotten up-close and personal with animals to uncover the true stories behind some of our planet’s most misunderstood creatures. He launched the Brave Wilderness channel with a mission to educate the world about animals and encourage conservation of species and their environments. Over 1,000 videos, tens of millions of subscribers, billions of views, and one Emmy Award later, Brave Wilderness remains the largest wildlife brand in the digital space.

Coyote’s fieldwork has connected him with conservationists and environmental stewards across the globe. Through Brave Wilderness, he has actively supported initiatives to raise awareness and funds for critical causes. To date, Coyote’s largest conservation collaboration was a partnership with Global Conservation Force and the Kariega Game Reserve in South Africa, where the expansion of re-wilded habitat and funding of an anti-poaching unit allowed for the introduction of 25 critically endangered black rhinos.

A graduate of The Ohio State University, Coyote combined his lifelong fascination with animals and his secondary passion for filmmaking and storytelling to become the internationally recognized wildlife presenter and educator he is today. Whether he’s diving into murky waters to catch a giant turtle or enduring the sting of a bullet ant, Coyote Peterson remains committed to captivating audiences of all ages and inspiring future generations to explore, respect, and conserve the wild world around them.
