More About Elica Le Bon
Elica Le Bon was born and raised in London to Iranian parents. Her mother and aunt were imprisoned during the 1979 Iranian Revolution, making her connection to the modern conflict deeply personal. As an adult, Le Bon moved to Los Angeles for law school and began working as an attorney before pivoting to activism full time. Her advocacy first took hold during the Women, Life, Freedom movement following the death of Iranian activist Mahsa Amini in 2022. The spotlight found her once again after the Hamas attack on Israel in October 2023.
