About

Comedians Enya Umanzor and Drew Phillips launched the Emergency Intercom podcast in July 2021 and have since built a cult following with millions of streams across platforms. In each episode, Enya and Drew talk pop culture and share hilarious slices of their lives, touching on anything from housing troubles and making friends to seasonal depression and wild anecdotes from their experiences in LA. With tasteful comedic timing, the two discuss even the most deeply personal struggles of loss and mental health in a way that allows listeners to relate and feel understood. Individually and together, on the pod and on stage, Enya and Drew’s unfiltered banter and unconventional takes give college audiences the opportunity to decompress and laugh until they cry in a space that feels both comfortingly intimate and freeingly riotous.

More About Emergency Intercom
Best friends Enya and Drew separately got their start as content creators in the Vine era before pivoting to YouTube. They united to create Emergency Intercom out of pandemic boredom and quickly earned a regular top 20 spot on the comedy podcast charts with their chronically online, stream of consciousness “brainrot” humor and accumulated over 12 million views in the first year. As they approach the 100 million views milestone, the duo is also making a name for themselves in the fashion industry with collaborations such as their Heaven collection for Marc Jacobs.

Enya Umanzor has carved out a niche online through her unique comedy and love of fashion. As an extremely multidimensional creator, her content ranges from comedic satire to fashion and pop culture, to lifestyle vlogs. Since Enya began creating content as a high schooler in Miami, she has garnered a loyal audience of nearly 2 million across Instagram and YouTube. Enya has worked with global luxury fashion brands such as Celine, Prada, Marc Jacobs, and Balenciaga. Building on her earlier work as an actress, writer, and producer for the YouTube series Stuck for Brat TV and Field Trip for Kyra TV, she has aspirations to move into the film and television space as an actor and writer.

Drew Phillips is a uniquely gifted digital creator, comedian, and cultural commentator with a sharp eye for the absurd and an unmatched sense of timing. With a dedicated online following built from his early Vine success and sustained through his offbeat, satirical YouTube content, Drew has carved out a distinct space in the creator landscape—balancing irony, vulnerability, and humor in a way that resonates deeply with Gen Z audiences. Drew’s comedic style—dry, surreal, and completely original—makes him a standout voice for brands and projects looking to connect with audiences who value authenticity, edge, and a sense of humor that doesn't follow the rules.

Together, Enya and Drew bring audiences into their wacky orbit and leave their universe forever changed.
