Stephanie Szostak is an actress, author, and keynote speaker best known for her roles in The Devil Wears Prada, Iron Man 3, and the ABC hit series A Million Little Things. Born and raised in France, she moved to the United States to attend William & Mary, where she played Division I golf and studied business.
After beginning her career at Chanel in marketing, Stephanie made an unlikely pivot at twenty-nine, to pursue acting. Over the next two decades, she built a successful career in Hollywood, working alongside some of the industry's most respected talent while navigating the same challenges many professionals face every day: uncertainty, rejection, self-doubt, change, and reinvention.
Why do capable people struggle to access their best thinking when the stakes are highest? Why is there often such a gap between what we know and how we show up? Those questions led her to develop what she calls a Personal Playbook: a practical system for reconnecting with the wisdom, experiences, values, and lessons we already possess but often lose sight of under pressure.
Today, Stephanie brings these insights to organizations through her keynote The Actor's Way, where she draws surprising parallels between life on a film set and the universal experience of navigating uncertainty, pressure, rejection, and inevitable transitions. Blending personal stories, mindset tools, and actionable practices, she helps audiences strengthen self-trust, build resilience, and perform at their best when life goes off script.
Stephanie is also the author of SELF!SH, a workbook designed to help people create their own Playbook for life. Its mission is rooted in a simple idea: we all carry far more wisdom, strength, and possibility within us than we often realize—and sometimes what is needed most is a way to reconnect with it all.
Stephanie is a proud Ambassador for the mental health organization Give an Hour, and donates 50% of her SELF!SH proceeds to support its mission.
