Damon Wayans Jr. was immersed in the world of comedy from an early age, born into one of Hollywood’s most comedic families. He has established himself as a comedian, actor, and writer independent of his pedigree. From the moment he first appeared on screen in his dad’s projects, like the offbeat comedy Blankman and the sitcom My Wife and Kids, it was clear that Damon Jr. was destined to carry the family torch of comedy. Damon can be seen starring alongside Tom Ellis and Gina Rodriguez in Players for Netflix.

Wayan’s launched the production company Two Shakes Entertainment, whose body of work now includes Poppa’s House, co-written by his father, Damon Sr., which was picked up by CBS.

He got his big break when he was cast as "Brad Williams" in the ABC sitcom Happy Endings, which garnered a dedicated fanbase and received critical acclaim for its humor and ensemble cast. Damon continued his success on the small screen when he landed a series regular role as "Coach" in New Girl, alongside Zoe Deschanel and Jake Johnson, where he received critical acclaim for his comedic timing and on-screen chemistry with the ensemble cast.

Damon has an equally prominent presence on the big screen. In 2014, he teamed up with Jake Johnson again in the blockbuster hit Let’s Be Cops, which grossed over $138M worldwide against a $17M budget. In the same year, Damon starred in Disney's Big Hero 6, which won an Oscar for best-animated feature. He played flashy roles in The Other Guys, opposite Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrell, directed by Adam McKay, and The Harder They Fall which was nominated for 11 NAACP awards.

Damon Wayans Jr. continues to elevate his craft and as solidified his place as a significant and influential figure in the industry.
