Former U.S. Representative Harold Ford, Jr. is co- host of FOX News Channel’s The Five and regularly appears on Special Report with Bret Baier. Ford is known for his centrist views and willingness to see both sides of a highly charged political debate. Ford is also the Regional President for PNC Bank in New York.

Ford served in Congress from 1997-2007 at a time when bipartisanship was more common and acceptable. He still believes that the country’s best days are in front of us, but he believes that our government and public institutions must begin to tackle the looming challenges - including our falling education system, the nation’s debt and lifting our pay check to paycheck society to a higher economic ground - with a new vigor and seriousness that has eluded today’s political leaders.
