John Leguizamo first came to prominence on the lecture circuit touring around the nation’s colleges and stages with his one-man show Ghetto Klown, which traced his life from growing up in Queens, through his avant-garde theater origins in the 1980s, to his feature film career and beyond. In the spirit of this provenance, Leguizamo brings his entire story—the lessons he’s learned, the characters he’s encountered, his passion for education, his struggles against racism and poverty—to audiences around the country with An Evening with John Leguizamo. On the big screen, Leguizamo’s extensive filmography spans major blockbusters, critical darlings, and fan favorites. His feature film credits include Christopher Nolan’s adaptation of The Odyssey as Eumaeus and Disney’s Oscar-winning animated hit Encanto. His feature film credits also include The Menu, Violent Night, Bob Trevino Likes It, The Infiltrator, Chef, Ride Along, Sisters, American Ultra, The Hollow Point, the John Wick franchise and many more. He also made his feature directorial debut with the chess drama Critical Thinking, in which he also starred.

On television, Leguizamo hosts and executive produces MSNBC’s docuseries Leguizamo Does America. He has also starred in acclaimed series including When They See Us, Waco, The Power and Bloodline. Leguizamo is also an accomplished graphic novelist and author. His published works include the graphic novel Freak, the PhenomX series, his memoir Ghetto Klown, and the children's book Kiki and the Can: Paint His World.

On the Broadway stage, Leguizamo created and starred in the Tony-nominated Broadway hit Latin History for Morons, which earned him a Special Tony Award for his work as both a playwright and performer. Leguizamo has also starred in or helped create many other stage productions including Sexaholix, Freak and Buena Vista Social Club.
