More About Kurt Russell
Kurt Russell started his acting career at the age of 10 and is one of few child actors to successfully transition their careers into adulthood. His breakout performance was in the acclaimed TV movie Elvis, for which he received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for the eponymous role. He then worked with Elvis director John Carpenter on Escape from New York, Escape from L.A., The Thing, and Big Trouble in Little China.
More recently, Russell has starred in a number of Quentin Taratino films including Death Proof, The Hateful Eight, and Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood. Other notable credits include Poseidon, Bone Tomahawk, Deepwater Horizon, and the role of Mr. Nobody in three of the Fast & Furious films. He also has a longstanding connection with Disney with performances in The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes as a child, Sky High as an adult, and many projects in between and beyond.
Like many actors, Russell fills downtime between projects with entrepreneurial endeavors. He founded the award-winning GoGi Wines, choosing to immerse himself in a traditional winemaking education rather than simply slapping his name on a label.
Kurt Russell has a “how you do anything is how you do everything” way about him. From scene-stealing performances in even minor roles to deep commitment to passion projects, his success in life is proof of what’s possible when you give it your all.
