Meg Stalter

Actress, Comedian and Writer

About

Initially cutting her teeth in the comedy scene, Meg Stalter has become one of today's most provocative and engaging voices in entertainment. The New York Times once hailed her as "an oasis of invigorating silliness in feeds dominated by wearying tragedy." At the same time, Harper's Bazaar described her as "a soothing comedy balm for a scathing grease fire of a year." Her breakout role as Kayla in the Emmy-winning series Hacks cemented her relevance, and she continues to expand her platform with starring roles, including Netflix's Too Much, as well as numerous viral comedy moments online. With a mission to disrupt the mundane and shine kindness through absurdity, Meg speaks on creativity, authenticity, community, and the power of laughter to transform culture. She delivers her insights through story-driven humor, bold character work, and a warm, conversational style that invites audiences not just to laugh, but to lean in.

On stage, Meg's unique value as a speaker lies in her ability to fuse hilarity with insight. She makes audiences laugh, then leaves them reflecting on what they learned about themselves in the process. Attendees leave with a fresh understanding of vulnerability, self-expression, and the courage to build their own creative voices. Meg is an ideal fit for forward-thinking corporate teams, universities, innovative organizations, and groups focused on innovation, culture, and community who want programming that blends entertainment with genuine inspiration and emotional connection.

More About Meg Stalter

Meg's journey began in Cleveland, Ohio, where she discovered early on the power of performance to create connection. After high school drama club and community college, she pivoted entirely into comedy, first in Dayton and then in Chicago. There, she embraced improv and character-driven sketches, developing a fiercely original voice. When she launched The Megan Stalter Show, her work began gaining momentum online. A single sketch, "Hi, Gay," soon exploded into millions of views and proved that raw, joyful authenticity could cut through the noise. That momentum led to her breakout in Hacks, followed by lead roles, voice-acting projects, and writing and producing opportunities. Throughout her rise, she has remained grounded in her belief that humor builds community, connection, and courage.

Today, Meg continues to expand her creative world while using comedy to inspire joy and self-expression, reminding audiences that the world is better when we allow ourselves to be fully human and a little wonderfully weird.
