Britt Lower is a multi-talented actress and writer, best known for her dynamic performance in the critically acclaimed Apple TV+ series Severance, where she stars alongside Adam Scott, Christopher Walken, and Patricia Arquette. Her portrayal in this groundbreaking psychological thriller earned her an Emmy award for Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 2025. In the same year, she starred in two films that premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival, Darkest Miriam and Psycho Therapy, in which she stars alongside Steve Buscemi. Her short film Circus Person, which she wrote, directed, and starred in, premiered at Tribeca in 2021, showcasing her multifaceted talents as both a creator and a performer. Britt will soon be seen alongside Sam Worthington in the upcoming Netflix series I Will Find You and also starred in the thriller movie Sender that premiered in 2026.

Britt’s artistic journey began in rural Illinois, where she and her mom started a small business together painting kids’ faces at festivals and fairs. She went on to study visual art and theater at Northwestern University before moving to New York City. When not filming, she can be found performing in small tent-circuses, or alongside her husband and young stepchildren for friends and family under the name “The Extra-Ordinary Circus.” Britt Lower’s husband, Kenna Kennor, is a master hairstylist and Britt’s frequent collaborator in the world of fashion. He’s also responsible for maintaining her iconic short bangs. They live in Brooklyn with their blended family, and their rescued dogs named Vinny and Bow-tie.
