Dan Abrams is the Chief Legal Affairs Analyst for ABC News; host of the top-rated cable show, On Patrol: Live on REELZ; host of The Dan Abrams Show: Where Politics Meets the Law on SiriusXM’s POTUS channel; and host and executive producer of Court Cam and Taking the Stand on A&E Network. He was previously a co-anchor of ABC's Nightline and served as General Manager of MSNBC.

Dan has created and sold numerous media companies including true crime behemoth Law&Crime, where he remains CEO and recently acquired Court TV. He also founded nationally renowned Mediaite.com, which covers the intersection of media and politics.

A graduate of Duke and Columbia University Law School, Dan has written numerous articles for The New York Times and Wall Street Journal, in addition to The Yale Law and Policy Review, and ABCNews.com among many others. He has co-authored numerous best-selling books about significant but often forgotten trials including Kennedy’s Avenger, John Adams Under Fire, Theodore Roosevelt for the Defense, the award-winning Lincoln's Last Trial, and most recently, Alabama v. King.
