More About Eric Nam
A graduate of Boston College, Eric Nam deferred an opportunity at Deloitte Consulting before pursuing an unexpected invitation to compete in a South Korean singing competition. That decision launched a career of music releases, sold out world tours, leading major studio movies, and an ever-expanding presence in global entertainment. His fourth studio album, Confessions of a Lonely Heart, explores heartbreak, loneliness, and the hope of finding connection in an increasingly connected, yet lonely world.
Nam's screen work includes a breakout appearance on season four of Peacock’s The Traitors and starring roles in Transplant and K-Pop: The Debut. He also voices Aang in the animated film Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender.
Beyond entertainment, Nam is co-founder and creative director of DIVE Studios, which he built with his brothers to amplify K-pop and Asian voices and connect global audiences through original content and storytelling. DIVE Studios has generated over 7 billion views across platforms. DIVE Studios also launched Mindset, a platform centered on candid personal stories from artists and celebrities that encourage more open conversations about mental health.
Nam’s advocacy has earned him a TIME100 Impact Award and The Jed Foundation’s 2025 Voice of Mental Health Award. In 2024, Eric Nam and DIVE Studios were honored with ADCOLOR’s Catalyst Award for their work elevating diverse voices and driving cultural change.
Across his work, Eric Nam explores how creativity, vulnerability, and cultural understanding can bring people closer together.
